for all accommodation reservations made through
Green Lizard Hostel
Green Lizard Hostel does not accept credit/debit cards. Cash payment at the hostel is a required form of payment for all reservations, but your reservation must be secured by credit or debit card and the cardholder with picture ID must be present during check-in.
Novak Systems Ltd, registered in England, under no. 3629311, facilitates credit card payments which are made through www.greenlizard.hr web site. It's registered office is at 20-22 Bedford Row, London WC1R 4JS.
Guaranteed reservations incur no charge to your credit card at the time of the booking. Your credit card is used only to make a reservation, the payment is due in cash on arrival. A reservation will be guaranteed if scheduled arrival date is within six days from the date on which the booking is made. Guaranteed amount equals the price of one-night stay. Upon confirming a guaranteed reservation, you authorize greenlizard.hr to charge the amount stated as "guaranteed" to your credit card in the event that you cancel your reservation later than stated in your booking or in the event that you fail to arrive at the hostel by 6 PM without notice of late arrival.
Deposit-paid reservations incur either a 30% of the total or one-night stay charge to your card at time of booking (whichever the highest). Upon confirming a deposit-paid reservation, you agree to pay this deposit.
Cancellation and Changes
Reservations with arrival dates in July and August (high season) are subject to different cancellation and change rules than reservations with arrival dates in other months (low season).
Guaranteed reservations with arrival dates low season require 2 days notice prior to arrival date to be cancelled without incuring a penalty, otherwise your card will be charged for one-night stay. For clarification, if your arrival date is the 28th of the month, 2 days prior to arrival date is on the 26th of that same month. There is no cancellation fee.
If a guaranteed reservation with arrival date in July or August gets cancelled, the guaranteed amount is charged to the credit card.
Deposit-paid reservations in low season require 2 days notice prior to arrival date cancellation without incuring a penalty. Deposit-paid reservations in high season must be cancelled at least 7 days in advance without incuring a penalty. When cancelled on time, we keep only the 10% of the total, otherwise the charge of charge of one-night stay is non-refundable.
Cancellations of accommodation at the Green Lizard Hostel must be made in writing, quoting the booking reference number directly to the hostel email address firstname.lastname@example.org. Your cancellation is acknowledged and accepted only when you receive a cancellation confirmation from us. Proof of sending is not regarded as proof of delivery.
You can make changes to your reservation, provided there is availability to accommodate your change request.
If arrival date on your reservation is in July or August, and you wish to change the arrival date, you must do so at least 7 days in advance. For other months, you must do it at least 2 days in advance. If you change arrival date on a guaranteed reservation to an arrival date which is later than 6 days from the day of booking, your reservation changes into a deposit-paid reservation and we will charge the guaranteed amount when we make the change.
If your change involves shortening your stay, please note that it can only be accommodated if it complies with minimum night stay requirements at the time of change.
If we cannot accommodate your change request because there is no availability, the change will be treated as a cancellation.
No Show and Early Check-out
Non-arrival at the Hostel (No Show)
Not checking-in by 6 PM on the date of your scheduled arrival is NOT a cancellation but a No Show. If you know you will arrive later than 6 PM, send an email to email@example.com, or call the hostel directly at +385(0)98 1718729 before 12 PM (noon) on the date of your arrival.
We reserve the right to release the reserved accommodation if you fail to check in before 6 PM. So, we advise you to tell us your estimated arrival times in order to inform us of your late arrival (if later than 6 PM).
If you fail to check in on the first date but still continue your travel plan to stay at the hostel, please contact us urgently so we can keep the room for you for the rest of the nights. Otherwise the entire reservation will be auto-cancelled.
Shorten Stay (Early Check-out)
Shorter stay is generally subject to charge for actual stay. However, in month August - peak season, we reserve the right to apply the whole period charge whether or not you stay the whole period.
